If Joy and Jack are anything, it’s fun!! These two truly wanted a celebration - and they got it! The first parts of the day were spent at First Presbyterian Opelika, Joy’s home church. The bridesmaids got ready in a house on campus in the cutest pink PJ’s (pink was a signature of Joy’s throughout the weekend) and were pampered by the lovely hair and makeup artists until it was time for photos to begin. Everyone adored their bouquets thanks to the talented Alli Forbes! Joy’s vibrant personality is beautifully captured in the colorful sprays of florals that surrounded the wedding day. Joy and Jack chose to share their first look as she walked down the aisle, and it was so very meaningful!! They worshipped at the ceremony and were declared “Mr. and Mrs. Jack Rowan”! The bride and groom took their portraits on the country club golf course while guests enjoyed cocktail hour under the twinkling lights on the lawn. And surprise!! Auburn Basketball coach Bruce Pearl was at the country club and wished Joy and Jack a blessed marriage! It was hard for the two to sit and enjoy a quick private meal after all that excitement, and they shortly kicked off the reception with their first dances. Ascension had guests on the dance floor all night, Joy and Jack included! After much dancing and visiting with guests, it was time for the sparkler exit. The Rowans were sent off in a friend’s vintage Bronco and the evening was concluded!
