This wedding day was VERY dear, as it was the day my brother married his best friend and the love of his life in Mary Charles! These two kicked off the weekend with golf for the boys, and a bridesmaids luncheon for the girls. Followed by a sweet rehearsal dinner where friends and family shared the kindest words about the couple! The next morning, bridesmaids got to Park Crest bright and early to begin hair and makeup while the groomsmen enjoyed brunch off-site and joined later on in the afternoon. It was a beautiful day in May and not a cloud was to be seen in the sky!! Many, many thanks to Cindy Caradine for executing this very special day so I could celebrate these two properly! Mary Charles and John David had their first look and were beaming with joy the rest of the day on. Friends and family joined for the ceremony in the gardens to witness the covenant vows being exchanged, and headed to the reception at the carriage house afterwards, where the new Mr. and Mrs. Allred entered their party to ACDC’s “Thunderstruck” (these two are huge Bama fans). The rest of the evening was filled with loved ones and dancing, with a special featuring Mary Charles singing a favorite song on stage quite seamlessly. Finally, the Allreds were sent off in a vintage Mustang to the sound of cheers, Alabama shakers, and “roll tide”. Cheers to Mr. and Mrs. Allred - you are so very loved!!
